Ms. Iman Nahudh Luaibi Al-Maliki is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Basic Sciences, College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah, Iraq, affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics (2006, University of Basrah) and an M.Sc. in Physics (2025, University of Thi-Qar), where her thesis focuses on Charge Transfer between Semiconductors and Metallic Nanoclusters. With over a decade of teaching and laboratory experience, Ms. Luaibi has served as a Physical Assistant (2011–2020) and now contributes as a lecturer guiding undergraduate students in experimental physics, laboratory practices, and scientific reporting. Her research interests lie in Medical Physics, Nanomaterials, Nanoclusters, Density Functional Theory (DFT) analysis, and drug delivery systems, with an emphasis on exploring the electronic and structural properties of nanostructures for medical and technological applications. She has published several peer-reviewed papers in Scopus and Q1-indexed journals, including Chemical Physics, Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention (APJCP), Journal of Nanostructures, and International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, demonstrating her active engagement in interdisciplinary scientific research. Ms. Luaibi’s research skills include DFT computational modeling, nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, spectroscopy, and data analysis, supported by proficiency in both English and Arabic scientific communication. Her contributions have been recognized within her institution for academic excellence and dedication to student mentorship. She is also actively involved in collaborative projects within Iraq and aspires to expand her international research network. With a growing h-index and citation record, she reflects a strong commitment to scholarly impact and continuous professional growth.
