Professional Profiles:

Research Focus:

Ms. Disha Chauhan research primarily focuses on the intersection of molecular biology, environmental factors, and their implications on human health. Specifically, my work delves into understanding the impact of increased arsenic levels on various biological processes, including the down-regulation of RdRp complex and the endocrine-disrupting potential of arsenic on reproductive and metabolic hormones. Furthermore, I explore the complex interactions of cellular and extracellular components in breast cancer metastasis. My overarching goal is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these areas and uncover innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

Professional Journey:

My professional journey has been marked by a commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning. Starting with my undergraduate studies at Govt. Degree College, Himachal Pradesh, and culminating in my postgraduate studies at SGGS College, Chandigarh, under Panjab University, I’ve strived to deepen my understanding of life sciences. Engaging in various workshops, seminars, and webinars has allowed me to stay abreast of cutting-edge developments in molecular biology and sustainable practices.

My journey also includes participation in significant conferences, both national and international, where I had the opportunity to present my research findings. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my perspective and fostering collaborations within the scientific community.
