She holds an extensive academic background in physics, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2019. Her doctoral research was conducted in the Material Synthesis and Simulation Laboratory within the Department of Physics. Prior to her PhD, she completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Physics in 2014, also at the University of the Punjab. This was preceded by a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in 2009, both from the same institution. Throughout her academic journey, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to the field of physics and has acquired a diverse set of skills and knowledge in areas such as material synthesis, simulation, and theoretical physics. She is an accomplished academician with a rich background in the field of Physics. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Rawalpindi Women University since August 2022, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Prior to this, she held the position of Head of the Department at Lahore Garrison University from April 2019 to August 2022, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and managerial skills. Her journey in academia began as an Assistant Professor at Lahore Garrison University, where she contributed significantly to the development of the Physics department from November 2015 to April 2019. She has also enriched her academic experience through international exposure, serving as a Visiting Researcher at the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, China, from April 2018 to September 2018. Before that, she served as a Lecturer in Physics at Queen Mary College, where she honed her teaching skills and mentored students from January 2012 to August 2015.
