Dr. Parveen is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Rawalpindi Women University since August 2022. Prior to this, she held the position of Head of the Department of Physics at Lahore Garrison University from April 2019 to August 2022. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Lahore Garrison University from November 2015 to April 2019 and as a Lecturer in Physics at Queen Mary College from January 2012 to August 2015. Additionally, she was a Visiting Researcher at the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, China, from April 2018 to September 2018. 📝
Research Interests 🔬
Dr. Parveen’s research interests primarily focus on material synthesis and simulation, as well as the application of physics in emerging technologies. She has contributed significantly to the field of materials science, including the fabrication of nanoparticles and the development of supercapacitors. Her expertise also extends to traditional systems of medicine and their evolution. She continues to explore various facets of physics through her academic pursuits. 🌐

Dr. Bushra Parveen has been recognized as an HEC Approved PhD Supervisor and received funding from the Higher Education Commission Pakistan (NRPU) in 2022. She has organized an international physics conference and is a permanent member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, ICT. She has attended numerous international and national conferences and has been honored with various awards, including the Philips Gold Medal and Talent Award from the University of the Punjab. 🎖️
