Mr. Aimen Tanougast is a motivated researcher in mechanical engineering with strong expertise in fluid mechanics, thermal engineering, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miskolc, Hungary (2022–present), focusing on advanced heat transfer enhancement techniques using vortex generators and nanofluids. He previously completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 and Master’s degree in 2022 from the University of Mentouri Brothers, Constantine, Algeria, where he built a solid foundation in mechanical design, thermodynamics, and applied fluid sciences. Alongside his academic studies, he gained professional experience through technical training programs at Naftal and Sonacom in Algeria, where he applied engineering knowledge to industrial processes, and through participation in the Summer School on Smart Public Space and Prosument Energy Transition at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. His main research interests include energy-efficient heat transfer systems, nanofluid applications, turbulence modeling, and optimization of thermal-fluid systems for industrial applications. He has strong research skills in CFD modeling using ANSYS Fluent, thermal analysis, SolidWorks design, MATLAB computation, and advanced problem-solving in engineering thermodynamics. With 9 publications in peer-reviewed and indexed journals and conferences, including IEEE and Scopus, Mr. Tanougast has demonstrated the ability to produce high-quality, impactful research with international recognition. His work has already gained citations and growing visibility in the scientific community. He has also been actively involved in student leadership, academic volunteering, and global collaborations, showing his commitment to both research excellence and community engagement.
